Kayseri, 2025 — In line with its goals for environmental sustainability and energy efficiency, Kayseri has implemented another significant investment. The Sulzer HST30 series magnetic bearing turbo blower system has been successfully commissioned at the city's wastewater treatment plant.

The next-generation HST30 blower eliminates mechanical friction and the need for lubrication thanks to its contact-free active magnetic bearing technology. As a result, the unit operates virtually silently (typically <70 dB(A)) and without vibration, enhancing operator comfort and minimizing maintenance requirements.

Equipped with a high-speed permanent magnet motor and an integrated frequency converter, the system offers highly efficient and precise operation. This enables accurate and energy-efficient oxygen supply during the biological treatment process.

Thanks to this modernization, operating costs have decreased, and the plant’s compliance with environmental standards has been significantly enhanced. Officials from the Kayseri WWTP consider this investment a strategic step toward supporting environmentally responsible production among regional industrial facilities.
